Tigger is an exuberant, one-of-a-kind creature with the famously springy tail. He acts on every impulse, and his boisterous manner often leads him to leap before he looks.

Des Moines, Iowa
We visited Living History Farms, Just outside of Des Moines. There are 4 different eras of farming represented. The day we went was the Wheat Harvest Festival. We participated in the harvest of wheat on 2 different farms and received a great education on the history of the mid west and farming over the past 300 years.

Adam and Val helped tan a deer skin on a tree at the Indian farming community.

They also helped with the 1850 pioneer farm. I pitched in there myself.

The boys got to water the sheep and pigs.

Dan and I even cut some wood.

It was great fun
