Tigger is an exuberant, one-of-a-kind creature with the famously springy tail. He acts on every impulse, and his boisterous manner often leads him to leap before he looks. |

Climbing 234 steps... a long walk |
We walked up the Champs Elysees from Franklin D Roosevelt. Shopping along the way, Jennifer found a shoe store then Cartier. We found a silver dongle for her cell phone at THE Cartier store.
At the end, we arrived at the Arc De Triumph. Jennifer decided to wait for us at the bottom. Me and the boys walked to the top, climbing the 234 steps to the roof. Most of it was up a spiral stair, circling round and round. It was nearly dizzying by the time we hit the landing near the top. They had benches there to take a rest at. Nice padded benches you could easily lay out and take a nap at, too.
There is a surprisingly large barrel vaulted room at the top. There will be a museum there in the near future. Currently, there is a good gift/souvenir shop in the end. Take the last flights of steps out to the top of the Arc. There is a very significant rail all the way around the edge.
The views are great. Here you can see the north east side of Paris including La Defense. Also, the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur.
The last photo here is the Cartier store Jennifer stopped at. It is a short block from the Arc.
