Downtown Disney Dazzles With the Spirit of Disney Springs

By Nav Krish

It seems that Disney Springs is already here. The awesome sights of the newest venues, including reports and visuals of upcoming constructions everywhere say a lot about the progress of the historic transformation of Downtown Disney Area. Whether it's a beautiful lamp post with the Disney Springs logo on it or the new multi-level Garage area that promises to eliminate all your parking hassles, the mouth-watering flavors from those colorful food trucks at the newly launched Exposition Park or the iconic Boathouse Lighthouse at The Landing that looks so tall and inviting, the feeling of freshness is everywhere around. In deed the change is happening and while Downtown Disney is evolving to an all new dining and entertainment mecca, for guests it become impossible to resists the uniquely fresh and tempting delights of those incredible construction sites.

Of all the expansion programs and changes till date, Disney Springs is undoubtedly the biggest ever expansion initiative that the world famous Entertainment District has to offer. The unique Transition Plan is in fact a historic move on part of Disney in re-creating and transforming its most sought-after Area to something completely new - a much bigger and more inspiring shopping, dining and entertainment alternative of tomorrow.

In the spring of 2013 they broke ground and Disney had announced that the transition of Downtown Disney will take place in Phases. The first of the Phases is expected to come in 2015 spring. Also the name change will occur during the same time. Moreover, Disney Springs is a landmark initiative, aimed at providing guests with more shopping, dining and entertainment offerings amid world-class open-air promenades, meandering springs and waterfront charm. With a target of adding more than 150 venues from the existing 75 outlets, undoubtedly the new expansion will offer choices like never before.

The transition of Downtown Disney to an all new Disney Springs is also seen as a move that draws inspiration from Florida's turn-of-the century lakeside towns and natural beauty. In fact Disney Springs tells the story of a town that had evolved into a magnificent and most vibrant establishment of tomorrow. And without missing the glory and charm of its yesteryear it sits squarely with the best of all modern day experiences. Disney Springs connects with four amazing outdoor districts with the help of a fascinating spring and vibrant waterfront- Town Center, The Landing, West Side and Marketplace.

Visiting Downtown Disney is always a unique experience to me. In fact it's a must visit destination for all during a Disney vacation. Though the Area is not a part of the theme-parks, it's the coolest place to spend the evening after the Park hours. With its astonishing array of restaurants, shopping and entertainment venues, it makes the most relaxing and fun destination for a great and memorable evening.

Orlando vacations are always expensive. And tickets play a major role in influencing the same. But there are many other options available to help you stay on budget. And I suggest you to visit the authorized agents and brokers for some real savings. If you are looking for discounts on your Disney Tickets and passes to exclusive Orlando attractions and events, including discount Sea World and Universal Studios tickets and other special theme park packages you can also consult WDW recommended Kissimmee based ticket Re-Seller - The Official Ticket Center.
